Purpose of the Job

As an AI Analyst, you will act as a vital business consultant and the primary liaison between our retail
clients and our technical teams. You will be responsible for understanding complex retail processes and
translating business challenges into actionable, structured solutions. In this highly connected role, you
will perform core consulting duties—such as leading requirement workshops, documenting functional
specifications, and managing stakeholder expectations—while simultaneously driving our cutting-edge AI
initiatives. You will be instrumental in implementing our DOE (Directive-Orchestration-Execution)
framework, helping clients transition from brittle legacy scripts to intelligent, agentic workflows that safely
bridge the probabilistic nature of AI with the deterministic requirements of enterprise systems like Oracle
Retail.

What You'll Do

Business Consulting & Stakeholder Management: Act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical developers, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and the facilitation of requirement review sessions.

Solution Design & AI Orchestration: Translate business problems into precise AI use-cases; work closely with technical teams to deploy specialized AI micro-agents into daily tools to resolve chronic operational friction.

Functional Specifications & Directives: Elicit and document clear business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, and process flows. Capture business logic in plain English Markdown SOPs to serve as audit-ready “Directives” for our AI agents.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing activities, including creating test cases, executing functional tests, and supporting UAT. Ensure that deterministic Python scripts handle API calls with zero hallucinations.

Issue Solving & Automated Triage: Analyze and resolve client defects by leveraging our AI Monitoring Agents. Assess business impact, coordinate with technical teams, and utilize contextual lookups to find root causes.

Risk Mitigation & Human Context: Identify project risks and ensure that automation initiatives respect the human element—safeguarding brand integrity, workplace culture, and employee morale against poorly contextualized AI optimization.

What We Need

Retail Functional Expertise: Specialized knowledge in one or more retail domains, modules, or processes (e.g., inventory rebalancing, procurement, logistics).

Requirements Engineering: Strong ability to elicit, document, prioritize, and validate requirements, combined with a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of LLMs.

Consulting & Facilitation Skills: Competence in leading meetings, conducting interviews, resolving conflicts, and presenting confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Analytical Problem Solving: The capacity to interpret complex information, trace work through invisible networks of influence, identify root causes, and propose structured solutions.

Technical Fluency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of the software development lifecycle, APIs, databases, and modern workflow platforms (e.g., n8n).

Tool Proficiency: Experience with collaboration and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.

Continuous AI Agility: A proactive and open mindset tailored for a dynamic, fast-paced environment where new AI models, tools, and capabilities are published daily. You must be eager to continuously learn and explore new technologies, perfectly balanced with the critical thinking required to rigorously evaluate and validate them for secure enterprise use.
